Dorothy from a very caring background as head of nursing has been the driving force behind the transformation of the local bushland and parklands. She is very driven and organised and makes things happen. Through the Ray Park Heritage Group she has transformed the local area into a valuable community asset, involving many of the local schools. More recently her attention has focused on local history and making sure we remember and recognise our past. Dorothy has driven the establishment of the Hazelwood Rose Garden.
