A new service to provide connectedness and assurance through regular phone or web calls to the elderly. We aim to reignite that 'local community feeling' of being valued and included in a time of social distancing & isolation.

Who is this service for

If you or someone you know -

Is looking for staying connected with their community through a friendly chat
Would benefit from regular catch-ups over the phone with a trusted, friendly volunteer then this service is for you.

What we provide

If you are interested in receiving this service -

We will match you with one of our friendly, trusted and caring Rotary volunteers
Your volunteer will work with you to find a time and calling frequency convenient for you (15 minutes, once a week is our most common arrangement)
Your volunteer will then ring you up for a casual, friendly chat at the agreed frequency

We aim to ensure that the same volunteer contacts you every time to ensure continuity and connectedness. Please note, this is not a service which provides medical, legal or financial advice.
