🎤 Speaker Meeting: A District Perspective - DG Michele Ellery on Leadership, Service, and Rotary's Future
This is an opportunity to learn more about the exciting world of Rotary beyond the club, how the district supports clubs, and bring questions about the broader world of Rotary and its future. Michele brings a wealth of experience, including a nursing background and her work as the proud founder of a multi-award-winning charity addressing violence and abuse. Having served as a District Assistant Governor and as the District 9685 Learning and Development Chair, she is constantly inspired by the great projects delivered locally and internationally.

🚂 Event: Train Ride to End Polio
Building on the success of last year, where we raised over $87,000, join us in supporting this unique initiative on World Polio Day! A dedicated team will embark on a monumental journey across the entire Sydney train network—189 stations in a single day—to raise awareness and a goal of $1 million to End Polio Now. Polio, a disease that mostly affects children under five, has been reduced by 99.9% since 1985 thanks to global vaccination efforts. Money raised will go directly to the Rotary End Polio Now campaign to support transport and materials needed to ensure no child suffers from this preventable disease.
