On Clean Up Australia Day 2021 members of the Rotary Club of Beecroft joined in with other community groups as volunteers. Thanks to Ross Walker of BCCT for coordinating!

David Ellyard and President Niranjan Deodhar took on the green patch between Sutherland Road and the railway track and between Copeland and Chapman. Their proud haul consisted of two large garbage bags full of bottles and assorted plastic, paper and cardboard, a clothes rack, a signboard and a car tyre. Most of the bigger items were found in the creek and involved some clambering down to reach them.
